i may be a candidate for pulmonx valves to help with my emphysema . does anyone know about these valves or had this op ?

Have you heard about lung reduction therapy? Well, this is similar but without the surgery to reduce the lung. I haven't read a lot about this but am aware that it is an one-way valve and is supposed to reduce the volume of the lung which is damaged by disease. It works because it directs air out of the most damaged parts. Sorry this is a bit vague, but it is a while since I read about it. I am sure your doctor will explain more if you ask.

I have read about this procedure and I believe there is a YouTube video on it you can watch. I think its exciting, please come back and let us know how you get on.
