First, take someone with you, they can act as your memory since most of us go into a dumb daze on these occasions. Also, write down all the big/medical words that you don't understand ... Ask them to explain and do a bit of googling when you get home. Next, ask them to define 'not good' with details about the implications, treatments plus suggestions for self help. Make sure you know what your treatment pathway will be .... Hope that is helpful?

Thanks Debs I went on my own for the Lung Function Test and to be honest the last thing I said to my hubby was is it really worth me going I doubt they will fined anything lol I was wrong thanks for the advice x

lol is that why I have stinky breath red eyes and covered with hair no need to be sorry I also have a weird sense of humour thanks for the good advice x grrrrrrr

Taffdaffy do you have lupus?? I have copd and lupus I mamage very well and am well at the moment. My advice is to start writing down all the questions that come into your mind now and before your appointment to can put together a list of questions and as someone else said take your hubby/friend with you when you go.

Yes I have Lupus Sjogrens ,Antiphospholpid Syndrome and Post Viral Syndrome so my Lung Disease could come from 3 of these Illnesses thanks for your advice x
